Borescope Inspection

Make sure your biggest investment is free of timber destroying pests. Regular insurance policies do not cover termite damage. All our inspections are carried out to AS4349.3-1998.

Note:

These insects are not ants, they are a destructive timber pest which can severely damage your home.

Termites usually need to maintain contact with the ground for moisture and therefore construct mud tunnels to protect themselves, while travelling from their nest to a food source (your home).

AS 4349-3-1998 recommends that properties be inspected every 12 months (6 months in high risk areas) to minimize damage before treatment.

Do not disturb termites or spray with aerosols if you find them on your property as you could cause them to attack another section of the structure extending the time taken to eradicate the colony.

Our inspections are thorough and include the following areas:

Our inspection report will detail all findings of timber pests (termites, wood rot and borers), any damage found, recommendations of remedial measures, areas likely to attract termite in the future, degree of risk to the overall property and other essential information about your property.

As always, early detection is the key. Have regular inspections every 6-12 months (depending on your home) and if termites are found, have them treated before the cost of replacing building materials soars.

Poor sub floor ventilation can attract termites as well as allow mould to grow which rots floor boards.

Livermore & Son are also Sydney's longest established sub floor ventilation installers. Please visit our SubFloor Ventilation site for more information on our systems.
