Rodents contaminate more food than they eat and in doing so spread diseases harmful to humans. Most activity takes place at night, so you are much more likely to hear a rodent than to see it.

Red backs, White tails and house spiders are all very common in Sydney. They will make their webs wherever food is available to them. When you notice spiders, leave their webs in place so these can also be treated.

Bees require treatment before they cause a serious allergic reaction in a stung human. Wasps also require treatment and can sting many times very quickly, so do not spray with aerosols as you will aggravate them.

A destructive timber pest which can cause major structural damage to your home. Depending on the species of borer, a treatment may be required and timber replacement may also be necessary.

Silverfish prefer to live in dark undisturbed places such as roof and wall voids. Treatment is usually required all areas using a combination of chemicals to ensure the infestation is eradicated.

Usually the best treatment is to dispose of infested food stuff in a sealed plastic bag. Surfaces can be treated if required but food items cannot. Unless there is a widespread problem disposal of the infected food stuff will resolve the issue.

Don’t just attack carpet and prefer to stay around areas where there is little disturbance such as under furniture and around skirting boards. Carpet beetles do all their damage in larva stage.
